Our baby girl crossed the rainbow bridge on 3/31/25 after having a very tough week.
8.5 years ago we brought this little girl home from the shelter when she was just 9 months old.
She had many, many battles thrown at her throughout her life, but she never gave up. Her happiness, playfulness, and love for everyone remained constant till the end.
I could write and post a million things/pictures about this girl.
To my first baby, my sissy girl, my sugar plum, my bertha, my girly pop, and every other crazy name we called her, you will always hold a special place in our hearts. I hope there’s endless ponds to swim in, all the frisbees and balls to fetch, all the stuffies to destroy, more than enough peanut butter stuffed kongs to eat, and all the rides. You are finally at peace and no longer in pain.

Rest easy our sweet girl. We love you so much. Life will not be the same without you, Maya.
