Fritz Cabonor

Fritz, age 12, passed away on June 1, 2023.

Fritz was Jeff and Natalie’s best friend for 12 plus years. He walked us twice a day for 12 years. He was our big beautiful white German Shepherd. Fritz weighed 120 lbs. most of his life. Fritz was strong both physically and willed. Our boy was brought home by Lake Summerset security 5 times. At least a half dozen times he was brought home or secured for us by the citizens of Lake Summerset. Fritz challenged us from day one. At about 6 months he ran off one morning. Getting ready for work and having breakfast we decided not to give chase. Remember us thinking he is smart enough to find his way home. Shortly thereafter the phone rang. It was security asking if we owned a large white dog. Fritz apparently was playing with an older gentleman and his dog. No one was hurt. Fritz never hurt a human being or another dog. While he was big strong and loud he was a good soul. You could play with Fritz as rough as you wanted and he would give it right back to you. He never backed down. He also was in many ways a lap dog. Fritz loved when people petted and talked to him. It would be fair to say he enjoyed that as much as the rough stuff. Both Jeff & Natalie ended up face down on the ground more than a few times. When Fritz wanted to chase something he was very hard to stop, and chase he did. Fritz got himself skunked twice. After that he decided chasing skunks was no fun. He did chase heavy equipment, garbage trucks, and snow plows. He once chased the snow plow completely around Lake Summerset. His paw pads were worn down and bleeding. As were the nails on his feet. He also seemed fearless. One night late we were walking across Lake Summerset’s dam. Noticed a coyote at the bottom of the dam. He started up towards us. Fritz assumed his German fighting stance. The coyote decided to retreat and took off in the other direction. Fritz was a true character. He leaves us with countless memories. Needless to say he will be missed greatly.

Buddy, age 7 years old, crossed the Rainbow Bridge on February 6th, 2026. Cremation services accorded. Arrangements entrusted to Whispering Willow Pet Funeral & Cremation Services. Buddy left us on February 6th to be reunited with his Momma Zoey. He was an absolute joy to have in our life every day. He was able to feel all of our human emotions and was always there at the right time to help you through it and bring your spirits back up. He had the best Elvis lip, loved to play ball for hours, loved watching tv, especially Yellowstone and of course The Dog Club Show! He absolutely loved going for walks and car rides any chance he got. He will truly be missed deeply. Until we meet again at The Rainbow Bridge.

Delilah, age 12 years old, crossed the Rainbow Bridge on February 6th, 2026. Cremation services accorded. Arrangements entrusted to Whispering Willow Pet Funeral & Cremation Services. She loved people, playing with the kids and chasing the ball around the yard. She also loved playing with her fur siblings and cuddling on the couch with anyone willing. Being outside and in the sun was her favorite thing to do. There's no way to sum up 12 years of life in just a few paragraphs. There is so much to say about Delilah and her bond with Zeus that she developed. We brought her home at 8 weeks old with her litter mate/partner in crime; Zeus. Watching them live life together melted my heart and every fiber in my body. Now they're reunited again and chasing each other endlessly at The Rainbow Bridge together. They used to sleep together like a couple of cats. They both loved being in the back yard and chasing the kids around or playing tug of war with them. Beanie (Delilah) loved laying in our laps eve at 50lb like she was a little puppy again. She would hang out in the yard on the beautiful days for hours on end, it was always a struggle getting her to come inside. If you had a ball, you instantly became her best friend, although she never was any good about bringing the ball back, but she'd definitely run around with it in her mouth. People are always quick to judge Pit Bulls, but Beanie was the most loyal and loving dog anyone could have ever hoped to own. She will truly be missed deeply at home and we will meet again at The Rainbow Bridge one day.

Myrrh, age 14 years old, crossed the Rainbow Bridge on January 30th, 2026. Cremation services accorded. Arrangements entrusted to Whispering Willow Pet Funeral & Cremation Services. Myrrh loved the massage gun and was a great mouser even though she was declawed in the front. She got pushed one time when she decided to play with Morgan and she was very sassy and only wanted attention and love on her terms, nobody else's. She will be deeply missed, and we will meet again at The Rainbow Bridge.
