Elke, age 7, passed away on November 20, 2022.
Elke Rue was a 7 years old German Shepherd and lived with John Shumate, Rhonda Best, her German Shepherd cohort, Arsus and the 2 cats who refused to play with her.
Her official name was Zelda vom Nobleheim. Rhonda picked her up at Ohare when Elke was just 9 weeks old when she arrived by airplane.
She was an independent, smart, gentle and kind dog. She loved to go to Sit, Stay, Swim while her two legged housemates traveled.
She will be missed.
